and we laid there on the artificial landscape holding hands and saying nothing.  Quite a fan of BAMspace here at the museum, and not simply because a boy took me on a date here. There is something beautiful and calming about the constructed curves. I do wonder what led them to that bright hue of orange but it sure attracted my attention. Also, a big plus is the wifi and the thing has power outlets integrated in in.  If anyone is from the Berkeley area, the museum is taking the installation down in April, so if you haven’t experienced this bad boy, stop by - student admission is free.  1326676990483 on Flickr.

so this is how everyone felt when they turned 16.

finally got my very first job at the Berkeley Art Museum- some of the best architecture in the bay area.

AND I’m incredibly ecstatic that it suits my list:

  1. right across the street from studio
  2. right across the street from my apartment

that’s quite a lot of win for today. also, i finally decided what to ask for for christmas: an alarm clock that isn’t my cell phone. i have class before 2pm next semester - it’s a must.

and here’s a lovely place that will be paying me my first $11.68/hr starting spring sem.
